Alcohol misuse harms everyone – not just those who drink, but those around them. It’s also completely avoidable. More than 10 million people in the UK are drinking to excess, costing the NHS £3.5 billion a year and our police, courts and prisons another £4 billion. We’re here to help people develop a better relationship with alcohol through campaigning for improved policies and regulation, creating a healthier drinking culture, delivering behaviour change programmes and championing cutting-edge research into alcohol and its effects. You can join us in transforming countless lives.

Among our other activities, we provide consultancy and training services, usually on a non-profit basis, to local alcohol treatment facilities and a broad spectrum of workplaces. Organising the delivery of these services, you will become the public face of the organisation as you identify new opportunities for engagement, actively market our courses, arrange bookings and oversee delivery, including detailed analysis of results. This will place you at the heart of everything we do, and you will enjoy a high profile and plenty of autonomy – plus all the satisfaction of making a lasting difference.

An experienced and capable administrator, you will be familiar with producing marketing material, implementing systems and processes and drafting reports for senior management. You will be skilled in manipulating data, adept at networking and business development, and capable of building productive relationships with customers – and above all, ready to hit the ground running. A background within a charity would also be useful, alongside exposure to CRM databases.

In return, we offer exceptional flexibility, with the option to work the hours of your choice across three, four or five days a week. In addition, you can expect a 6% employer contribution towards your pension, a salary sacrifice scheme and healthy investment in your training and development, among other benefits.
