Fundraising and Engagement Assistant

Work as part of a dynamic team to grow our funds and build community engagement so we can reduce the harm caused by alcohol.

  • Fundraising and Engagement Assistant
  • Central London
  • £21,392 to £24,036, plus benefits

Alcohol misuse harms everyone – not just those who drink, but those around them. It’s also completely avoidable. More than 10 million people in the UK are drinking to excess, costing the NHS £3.5 billion a year and our police, courts and prisons another £4 billion. We’re here to help people develop a better relationship with alcohol through campaigning for improved policies and regulation, creating a healthier drinking culture, delivering behaviour change programmes and championing cutting-edge research into alcohol and its effects. You can join us in transforming countless lives.

As our Fundraising & Engagement Assistant, you will be joining a small but perfectly-formed team of three. You’ll be able to enjoy working across multiple types of fundraising, and you’ll be involved in our innovative engagement programme, including supporting our volunteers. You will be responsible for maintaining the team’s data to an excellent standard and working with colleagues to ensure that the charity’s supporters have an outstanding experience.

You will be brilliantly organised, with great attention to detail and a willingness to take on a wide variety of tasks. If you like doing the same thing every day, this job is not for you. You’ll also be a warm and friendly communicator, sensitive to our stakeholders and a great team player.
