This beer is the fourth member of the St Peter’s Without family, along with Without Original, Without Gold and Without Organic. There are all completely alcohol-free, something the brewery are keen to emphasise with a big ‘0.0%’ on the label.

Unlike most of the fruit beers we’ve reviewed, this one isn’t excessively sweet. It’s perhaps closest to Belgian cherry beers (kriek), although it’s quite a bit more malty than them. It won’t be to everyone’s taste, but if you’re looking to explore the frontiers of low-ABV, give it a go.

Like all other St Peter’s beers, it comes in a great eighteenth century American style oval bottle, which really adds to the drinking experience. And it’s vegan-friendly.

You can order it online straight from the brewery.
