Launched in 2017 at the Club Soda Mindful Drinking Festival, it looks and smells like a good craft lager. The taste is good too – clean and refreshing– with maybe just a little bit of a sour aftertaste. Overall, very satisfying.

Big Drop are a brewery who’ve plainly got the hang of presentation too. Last summer, they acknowledged that their original geometric labels were “nice but lacked character”, and had a bit of a revamp. Like Adnams, Big Drop are plainly proud of their routes in the far east (of England). Their lager showcases one of four images of the Suffolk landscape, in this case a summery scene of an enticing beach.

Big Drop Lager is on sale via Dry Drinker. The brewery also supplies various pubs, restaurants and shops in England (and Sweden, it seems).
