One thing you can say about BrewDog – they’re not shy. Even when they make an alcohol-free beer, they have to give it an extreme flavour and a provocative name.

This is the third low-ABV brew from the Aberdeenshire bad boys of craft ale – following from their original Nanny State in 2013 and their 2018 Raspberry Blitz. Much like its raspberry-flavoured sibling, Punk AF is a Marmite beer – you’ll either love it or hate it. We’d expect nothing less from BrewDog.

Depending on how you look at these things, it’s either got plenty of hops or far too many hops. It’s hoppier than a rabbit on springs. So, if you’re a devotee of hard-core IPA, go for it! It gives a few standard-strength IPAs a run for their money, and you’d be hard-pressed to spot that it’s only 0.5% ABV.

You can find it in supermarkets, from Dry Drinker at the link below, or direct from the brewery.

Drydrinker and Wise Bartender are online suppliers of low-alcohol and no-alcohol drinks. When you buy drinks from them using these links, Alcohol Change UK gets a proportion of the sales, helping us work to end the harm caused by alcohol.
