Be Free Rosé comes from the Peter Mertes winery in the beautiful Moselle Valley – the region some Germans call Weinkulturland.

It comes in a smart bottle with a cute pencil sketch of an old-fashioned motorbike on it – reminiscent of Che Guevara’s old Norton 500 that took him across Latin America. This wine isn’t quite as adventurous as that, but it’s not bad at all. It has a lovely pink colour and a pleasant fruity taste, and it’s fairly low in calories too.

You can pick some up in Asda.
