It was way back 1904 when William John Thatcher first made cider at Myrtle Farm in Somerset. According to legend, in the earlier days he paid his orchard workers partly with cider!

Now one of Britain’s biggest cider makers, Thatchers have made a nice entry into the alcohol-free market with this cider which is sure to have wide appeal. They are also to be commended for producing one of the very few 0.0% ciders currently available.

It has a light, golden, clear colour which pours nicely with lots of foam and fizz. It’s quite dry and not too sugary, making it similar in some ways to Dry Drinks’ Smashed Apple. It has a flat apple taste throughout with not much bite. This is a gentle, light cider which is very thirst-quenching. In July 2020, it was proclaimed Best Cider at the Imbibe No-and-Low Awards.

We think it would be perfect for a hot summer’s day!
