The Mojito is one of the world’s most popular cocktails and also one of the simplest: rum, lime, sugar, mint and water. Arguments persist about who first put all these ingredients together in one glass – Native Americans, African salves, or European adventurers. The origins of this alcohol-free version are a little clearer – it was invented by Avnish Babla in London in 2019.

Like all Sipling drinks, it comes in a great-looking bottle in the distinctive Sipling dark blue and copper colours. The drink itself is clearer than we’d normally expect a Mojito to be – a little less lime than usual, perhaps – and the main taste and aroma that come through are mint.

It’s not our favourite of the Sipling drinks. On the other hand, as we always say, that’s just our opinion, and this may be just the drink you’re looking for. So, try it for yourself. You can order all of Sipling’s drinks direct from them, either as a pack of six bottles of one drink or a mixed tasting pack of six different cocktails. Other sales outlets are sure to be on the way.
