Big Drop are one of the biggest success stories of the low-ABV revolution that’s been happening in the world of brewing. Founded on a small scale in 2016, they’re everywhere now, with an ever-increasing range of beers, including this Pine Trail pale ale.

We’re not quite sure what the name means. It makes us think of long forest walks – maybe that was the intention! It’s a beautiful golden beer with plenty of life in it. It’s got lots of hops. In fact, it’s hoppier than a rabbit warren, and although there is a hint of sweetness to it, our taste-testers found it a bit too bitter. Mind, if hops are your thing, give it a go.
