Like many Tiny Rebel beers, this stout is a big old complex mix of flavours. It starts with a whiff of coffee, which is then joined by dark chocolate, as well as malt and hops, of course. It pours beautifully with plenty of head on it. It is, perhaps, a little thin, but it compares favourably with quite a few beers at eight or ten times the ABV.
The one thing we’re not too sure about is the name. There’s a general agreement in the world of alcoholic drinks that making allusions to illicit drugs is not a good idea. That surely has to apply to low-alcohol beers too.
