The official Dry January app: an update regarding 'Dry Days'

You will have received an email from ‘Sophia Taylor’ from Cyberliver/Zanec, informing you that the 'Dry January and Beyond' app has been updated to an app called 'Dry Days'.

This email did not come from the Dry January team, which is part of the charity Alcohol Change UK. The email was sent by a private firm called CyberLiver who provided the Dry January app in the past, and are working under the name ‘AlcoChange’.

CyberLiver and their partner company Zanec are no longer associated with Dry January, their contract having expired earlier this year. Their 'Dry Days' app - which they may have automatically updated on your device - is not the Dry January app.

The official Dry January app is called Try Dry: the Dry January app, and you can find out more about it below.

You can, of course, continue to use Dry Days. However, this app is no longer connected with Dry January or the charity behind the campaign.

If you would like Cyberliver/Zanec to delete your data and stop emailing you, you can simply:

  • Email [email protected], asking them to delete your data, and
  • Click the ‘Unsubscribe’ button at the bottom of their email.

Thank you very much for taking the time to find out more. We hope that you choose to join the Dry January team again this year, but if you would like us not to contact you again please click the ‘Unsubscribe’ link at the bottom of any of our emails.

You can find out more about the new Dry January app below.
