Scottish brewers Brulo lead with hops when it comes to making beer, and this particular beer is made with seven types of hops, as well as seven grains – including rice, barley, oats, wheat and rye. The result is a lively, cloudy beer with a strong head. It’s a bitter beer but with a good balance between hops and malt, and just a hint of citrus.

Like all Brulo beers, it comes in a striking can with an eye in the middle of the label. According to the brewers, they got the idea from Japanese poster art of the 1960s – just another example of their commitment to exploring new options.
