A review of Bavaria Shandy - a thirst-quenching, nostalgic shandy taking you back to the 1970's.
Score:
5/5
Despite the name, Bavaria Shandy actually comes from the Netherlands. They’ve been making alcohol-free beer there since 1978, although this shandy – in its smart green and white can – is a relatively new arrival. We should say straight away that if you’re looking for something totally alcohol-free, this is not the drink for you, since its alcohol content is just under 1%. Apart from that, it’s a very nice drink, just like an old-fashioned shandy. It’s sure to quench your thirst and will probably prompt a twinge of nostalgia for 1970s summers in people of a certain age.
