Clean Break’s founder Rich has described this beer as a part of his “messy divorce from alcohol”. Having worked for twenty years in the alcohol industry, he gave up drinking in 2021 and decided to become an alcohol-free drinks producer.
The can design is nice and simple, matching the “clean” emphasis of the brand. The drink itself has a nice light colour and a mild aroma. It’s got a really nice flavour to it – not overpowering and really refreshing. It doesn’t feel as though there has been any compromise on flavour because of the reduced alcohol volume, and I would happily choose this beer again.
