Crodino is as Italian as Paulo Rossi and pasta. The manufacturers claim that it’s “un rituale Italiano” – an Italian ritual. It was launched in the 1960s to meet a growing demand for alcohol-free drinks. With that demand on the up again, it’s having a long-overdue revival. The exact ingredients are a bit of a secret, but it’s made with “selected herbs, spices and roots” and matured for six months. The result is a drink with a deep yellow colour and a unique bitter-sweet flavour that’s not quite like anything else!
