We discovered Haelu drinks in 2022. Based in Kent, they aim to provide grown-up drinks that are not only tasty but good for you. Every Haelu drink contains HAELU HAPPI, their unique blend of herbs, vitamins, and minerals. Several of these are what’s known as “adaptogens” – botanical ingredients used in traditional medicine in east Asia.

Flavour-wise, Haelu drinks are like nothing else we’ve tried – in a good way! Salerno is a city in southern Italy, so we were expecting, maybe, some kind of lemonade. Instead, this is a deep orangey-red coloured cloudy drink, with beautiful orange and spice aromas. The drink is best served with ice, but the taste is unexpectedly warming, which makes for a marvellous contrast. Like we said – it’s not quite like anything else.
