Our taste-tasters have reviewed hundreds of drinks on these pages. Every now and again, they find a real gem. This is one of those.

Hobson’s Free IPA is a great pale ale. It’s pale and cloudy in colour. It’s full of hops but not too floral, and the hoppy bitterness is balanced by just a little sweetness.

Hobson’s are based in Shropshire, but this beer is the result of an international partnership and was brewed at the Browar Błonie in central Poland.
