The Krombacher Brauerei sits on the banks of the quiet little Krombach river in some equally tranquil German countryside, and it’s been turning out fine German beers since 1803.
This weißbier is the second low-alcohol Krombacher beer to be brought to the UK by Morgenrot of Manchester, and it’s a very welcome addition to the market. It’s a clean, light and very drinkable beer. If you’re a real weißbier aficionado and you’re looking for a full-on weißbier with loads of herbal aromas, Maisel’s Weisse Alkoholfrei is probably the one for you. If you want something a bit less floral, try Krombacher.
