This Superbock Pilsner is a refreshing Portuguese beer, made by one of that country’s leading brewers. It is said to be produced using a unique dealcoholisation process that doesn’t interrupt the fermentation, and so sacrifices none of the flavour. That certainly seems to be true. Overall, we can’t fault this beer. It tastes just like standard strength Superbock lager at 5% ABV, and it reminded our taste-testers of past Portuguese holidays! It’s light, crisp and full of flavour. What’s not to like?
