The first Kirkstall Brewery Company was built on the banks of the River Aire in Leeds in 1833, and produced and exported highly-regarded beers for 150 years. In 2011, the brand was revived, and the new Kirkstall Brewery turns out more than thirty different beers, ranging from lagers to stouts.
This light and lively pale ale is their first alcohol-free brew. It comes in an attractive can with two doves in amongst some hops. Once poured, it’s got a hoppy aroma and refreshingly bitter taste. Like many alcohol-free beers, it’s a little thin. But, overall, this is an ideal summer drink.
