This DC Sauvignon Blanc is made by Darling Cellars on the west coast of South Africa. It’s impressively packaged with a classic, understated label showing a wild vine. Unlike some alcohol-free wines, it looks like a genuine bottle of expensive white wine. This traditional wine company seems to be taking alcohol-free wine seriously!

Once opened, it’s got the familiar scent of white wine. But our two taste-testers were divided on the flavour. One found it a “smooth well-expressed drink, not sweet, with a very polished flavour”. The other found it a little lacking in flavour, apart from a strong gooseberry taste. They also varied in the scores they gave: five out of five and three out of five. So, we gave it an average score of four! As always, you’ll have to decide for yourself.
