Like many of the best ciders, this one’s from Herefordshire. It’s been brewed for Marks and Spencer by Weston’s, who’ve been growing apples and turning them into cider in the Wye Valley since 1880.

M&S sell this cider alongside Weston’s own Stowford Press low-alcohol cider. So, they obviously see it filling a different gap in the market. The Marks and Spencer branded cider is certainly sweeter than Stowford Press, and overall not such an interesting drink. Once again, we’d say, none of the supermarket ciders really compare with the two outstanding low-ABV offerings: Stowford Press and Sheppy’s.
