When Budweiser Prohibition was launched in 2017, we have to say we didn’t give it a rave review. It seems we weren’t the only ones who thought it might need a makeover. In 2020 it was relaunched as Budweiser Zero, with a promise of “great Budweiser taste, crisp refreshment and a smooth finish”.
It is certainly an improvement on its predecessor. It’s light, golden and a little bit malty. It’s not complex or exciting but it is guaranteed to quench a thirst. A good picnic beer, maybe.
