Alcohol-free lagers are getting better all the time, and this is one of the best.
August Kuentzmann Damm founded his brewery in Barcelona in 1876, having fled south to escape the war between France and Prussia in his hometown. It was plainly a popular move, as the Estrella Damm brewery has become quite a Catalan institution since then.
This Estrella Damm 0.0 was launched in the UK in 2025, in response to growing consumer demand for drinks with less alcohol. It’s malty but light, and well-chilled it’s tremendously refreshing. It’s also very nicely presented in a smart can that sends out the message that this is a quality beer. If you’re looking for alcohol-free larger, maybe start here!
