This new Mexican-style cerveza is a collaboration between Fortitude drinks in Essex and Mockingbird Spirit in Bristol. Two heads are usually better than one, and the results of these two businesses getting together are very interesting indeed.
It’s a great-looking beer, nicely packaged with Latin American geometric patterns and little agave leaves. The flavour is that of a nice light Mexican lager, combined with a big load of hoppy bitterness, balanced with a nice bit of agave sweetness. Overall, it’s an intriguing brew.
It’s also vegan and gluten-free.
