Celtic Marches is a long-established family firm, around 30 miles from the border between England and Wales – hence the name. They produced their first low-alcohol cider in 2019 and by 2022 the range had expanded to four, including this pleasant fruity drink.

It’s got a lovely red colour, although we weren’t too sure about the aroma, which was very sweet – like old-fashion strawberry sweets. But we were pleasantly surprised by the taste, which had the bite of fresh cider apples, balanced by dark fruit.

It feels a little thin, but, altogether, this is a nice cider.
