Sandford Orchards in Devon are relative newcomers compared with some cidermakers, being founded in 2002. They aim to offer “super approachable” ciders and use dozens of varieties of apples from local farms to produce a diverse range of drinks.
The launched their first low-alcohol cider in 2024. It’s got a rich golden colour. It’s slightly sweeter than some other ciders on these pages, and there’s just hint of caramel. If you like traditional ciders but don’t like them too dry, this is the one for you. A welcome addition to the options for consumers!
