This great French lager seems to have replaced Sainsbury’s Low Alcohol Czech Lager as their main own-brand alcohol-free lager in 2021, and it’s a real improvement.
Don’t let the somewhat dull packing put you off. What we have here is a really nice Continental lager. It’s got a dark golden colour and pours well with plenty of life in it. It’s more hoppy than a lot of big-brand lagers, and is maybe edging towards being a craft lager. If you like beer with plenty of flavour, give it a go. There are plenty of beers at 4% or 5% that don’t taste this good.
