Dave and Hannah launched Stride in 2021, during the UK-wide lockdown (which was probably a time when a lot of new ideas were born). It’s isotonic and designed to appeal specifically to athletes, and Its creators say it “won’t affect your performance or leave you groggy the next morning”.

Now, everyone knows that isotonic drinks are the go-to choice for sports people. But most such drinks are unlikely to win any medals for taste. So, what do you do? Have a beer and ditch the exercise? Or stick with the sickly, brightly-coloured isotonic potions? Well, thanks to this new low-alcohol, isotonic beer, it’s no longer either or.

Stride is brewed to have just 0.5% alcohol, but is packed with electrolytes, vitamins and minerals. And it tastes, well…like a great-tasting craft beer, meaning that the night before will no longer ruin the morning after and your latest PB won’t be spoiled by an excessive ABV, In short, you can have your beer, and drink it.
