We found this Australian red wine in Morrison’s in 2023, and were very pleased with it. It’s from the vineyards of South Australia, where they climate is a little cooler than in some other Australian wine regions. It’s made from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes to a standard wine strength and then de-alcoholised. It’s got a lovely deep red colour, a nice blackberry aroma, and a good balanced flavour without the excessive sweetness that mars so many alcohol-free wines. There’s a slight bitter aftertaste that won’t suit everyone but which some people will love.
