Take 25: Our fundraising campaign built on small, positive moments

May 2026 |

Your invitation to carve out 25 minutes each day, while fundraising to support others.

Every day, more than 25 people die due to alcohol related harm. And roughly every 25 seconds, someone visits Alcohol Change UK’s information and advice hub looking for help, guidance or reassurance. They might be questioning their drinking for the first time, or searching for practical tools to cut back. They might simply want to know that change is possible. By fundraising through Take 25 you can help ensure that support is there for those who need it.

Take 25 is our new wellbeing-led fundraising campaign. Throughout June, we’re inviting you to dedicate 25 minutes a day to something that supports your wellbeing. You can take 25 minutes each day or pool your minutes and complete them in a way that works for you, whether that is daily or in a single weekly moment.

Your 25 minute moment could be a walk, a bake, a stretch, a burst of creativity or a moment of calm. However you choose to spend your time, your fundraising will help more people access free, independent support and advice when they need it most. The point is not what you do, but the intention behind it.

We asked colleagues how they would spend their 25 minutes to support their wellbeing, and they told us:

“Mine would be spending 25 mins a day in June to practice DJ transitions, with the aim to create an hour-long or longer mix by the end of the month - which I could send as an audio file to people who donated.”

“I would spend my 25 minutes getting outside in the warmer weather, by running a 5k each day in June.”

“I would pool my minutes and spend 2 hours 55 minutes at the end of each week painting, to help me relax. At the end of the month, I would auction my art off in exchange for donations.”

Getting involved is simple. Choose your activity, set up your fundraising page and take your 25 minutes whenever it suits you. Whether you raise £25 or £250, every donation helps Alcohol Change UK continue providing trusted advice, tools and support to people across the UK.

If you've ever wanted to support Alcohol Change UK through fundraising but were not sure where to begin, Take 25 is a simple and welcoming way to get involved. By taking a little time for yourself, you can help ensure more people can access free, independent support and advice when they need it.
