Urgent responses needed: Help influence Government’s review on potential licensing reforms

October 2025 | 6 minutes

Help influence Government’s review on potential licensing reforms.

What is happening?

The government have recently announced a call for evidence and views on proposed reforms to alcohol licensing in England and Wales.

We are concerned that these reforms will increase alcohol harm and make our streets less safe.

Where can I respond to the consultation?

You can respond to the consultation here. The deadline for submissions is 6th November.

What can you do?

They have invited members of the public to also submit to the consultation so we have put together a handy guide to help identify the key questions that would be most helpful for you to respond to. You do not need to answer all of the questions. You can make a difference in only 15 minutes but we’ve included some additional questions to respond to if you have a bit more time. We’ve provided some template text for these questions but feel free to add any personal experience that relate to these questions as well.

  • Text box for question 56 (public safety or crime concerns). You can use our template answer.
