Adnam’s make beer. That’s what they’re known for. So, are they any good at making cider? The answer, as always, depends on what kind of cider you like.

This one’s made from a mix of bittersweet and dessert apples grown in the Malvern Hills. So it will be a bit too sweet for some traditional cider fans. It’s not a complex drink, and we didn’t quite find the “wild wave of flavours” promised, but it certainly is a tasty and refreshing English cider.

It also comes in a great can, with a wave of seawater cleverly morphing into slice of apple. Playing on their east-cost heritage, Adnam’s recommend you serve it “at North Sea temperatures”.
