Friels are an independent family-run business, using locally sourced apples from Hereford and Worcestershire. The apples are pressed near the banks of the River Severn in Stourport and Friels pride themselves on keeping their products free from artificial sweeteners, colourings and flavourings.

This cider has a great aroma – it’s apples, apples, apples all the way – and there’s a taste of authentic cider at first sip. You can also sense the high carbonation. As it travels through the mouth it seems to lose some of the flavour and promise it shows at the start. Once swallowed, though, it regains some interest, and the cider taste returns. It is more dry than sweet, and the flavours do linger.
