We’ve previously reviewed a couple of alcohol-free offerings from Brulo, a relatively new brewer of alcohol-free drinks, based in Edinburgh. We very much enjoyed their Lust for Life and 7 Hop 7 Grain.
Cascadian Tides is their new alcohol-free stout, but is it any good? The short answer is, yes, it’s another hit. Apparently, it won an award for Best Non-Alcoholic Stout at the 2023 International Beer Challenge, and we can see why. Our reviewers enjoyed the full-bodied and velvety feel of the drink; and the undertones of chocolate and coffee more than make up for the total absence of alcohol.
Bonus fact: it’s vegan friendly. So, if you’re avoiding animal products, this drink should suit you fine.
