Lust for Life has been created by Brulo, an Edinburgh brewery established in 2019. As the brewery’s name suggests, their focus is on brewing alcohol-free beers – particularly modern, hoppy craft ales. They’re committed to experimenting and extending the boundaries of brewing, and so far, they’ve produced almost a dozen different beers, ranging from pale ales to stout.

This particular pale ale has been created with a double dose of hops, and comes in a striking blue can, with a little eye staring out at you. The beer inside is one of the best we’ve tried. It’s fairly cloudy with a thick head once poured. It’s got an unexpectedly sweet taste, with a hint of satsumas, by it’s not overly sweet at all. All in all, this is a quality pale ale.
