Ceder’s Pink Rose is one of four alcohol-free “alt-gins”, named after the Cederberg Mountains in South Africa, where many of the herbs that gives the drinks their flavour have their origins.
This non-alcoholic spirit is made with juniper, rose and hibiscus, combined with pristine Swedish water. On its own, it’s perhaps a little too floral in flavour; mixed with tonic it makes a very nice pink gin cocktail, with just a hint of sourness to balance the sweetness.
We found it on sale in Sainsbury’s along with Ceder’s Classic.
