From the depths of Devon comes this Nordic inspired aperitif, with berries, pine and kelp immersed in a blush pink tinged mixture. The makers are working in partnership with the Marine Conservation Society. So, as well as being good for your liver, 1% of the retail price of this drink goes to a seagrass regeneration project.

Blushing like a glimmer of sunlight, it has the appearance of a pink gin and is inviting like a sun kissed Provençal rose. It has an Icelandic spirit about it, like the sun never sets – as the name infers. The taste is sharp and peppery, a fruity but subtle blend, less sweet, more aromatic, and extremely pleasant like a fancy summer gin.

Alcohol-free drinks these days are so good, they’re hard to tell apart from the real boozy ones. When the sun comes out, we all think of drinks in the garden. With alcohol-free options like this one, you can go right ahead.

I LOVED this drink. Top marks: 5 out of 5.
