Equinox Pink Grapefruit and Guava Kombucha

Packaged in a light pink and white can, this Pink Grapefruit and Guava version of Equinox kombucha looks almost like a pale Lucozade when poured. There is a very strong scent of grapefruit promising something refreshing within. The guava fruit also comes through nicely on the nose. This is quite a fizzy one, so watch out for the bubbles!

When sipped, it has an appealing flavour which is sour, fresh and complex. Our taste-testers thought it would make a good breakfast drink. Kombucha fans will not be disappointed either as there are lovely vinegary notes too. Some might find it a little too vinegary if not accustomed to the kombucha taste. Certainly, one for a connoisseur rather than someone just discovering these drinks.

Kombucha drinks are not usually recommended for children or anyone who is pregnant, as they are live drinks and so the alcohol content can vary over time, although it is usually not more than 0.5%.
