Impossibrew beers are described as “functional drinks”. That means that they’ve been make with the aim of boosting your energy and health as well as slaking your thirst. They’ve been created with a special blend of herbs believed to have therapeutic properties.
In contrast to the natural origins of the drink, the can has an impressively stark industrial look, in white and black with just a touch of gold. That gold may be a hint about the colour of the beer inside, which is so golden, it’s almost amber. As for the flavour, it’s full to the brim with hops and has a real bitterness. So, it’s probably going to appeal more to pale ale fans than lager-lovers. But whether lager or IPA is your usually tipple, this beer certainly is worth a try.
