This alcohol-free version of an almond liqueur has such a rich almondy flavour, you wouldn’t believe that it’s wholly nut-free (which is great news for anyone who’s had to avoid Amaretto due to a nut allergy!) It’s low in calories and free from dairy, eggs and gluten too. What it does have (as well as that almondy flavour) is hints of vanilla, light tangy spice, and a nice caramel texture.

Overall, we found it very close in taste and feel to a standard-strength Amaretto liqueur, and would highly recommend it. We enjoyed it in an Amaretti Sour mocktail – an amazing take on the classic Amaretto Sour. Mixed with sugar syrup, lemon juice, and egg white, the sweetness of almond flavour really complements the sourness of the citrus. Delicious! You can find the recipe here amongst many others.
