The attractive deep blue and gold packaging of this drink – with the illustrations of cacti, cowboy hats and a great brown bear – immediately transports you to the American West.

Once poured – preferably into a highball glass with ice and lime – it smells just like a bourbon and cola and has the typical dark brown colour. Rich, deep and almost chocolaty to taste, it delivers a complex palate with vanilla and rye. There’s something warming in the flavour which makes you want to curl up next to a roaring fire with a good book. Bravo Lyres, for a fantastic after-dinner drink!
