Like so many alcohol-free drinks businesses, Nunc was founded by a couple of people who wanted better drinks than they’d found so far. Andrew and Diana started experimenting with brewing; and thousands of brews later, they knew they had something special.
This jun-kombucha is made with honey instead of sugar. The aroma is fresh and certainly a lot more appealing that some of the other kombuchas I’ve tried. The initial taste is so refreshing, and there’s a slight fizz that complements the smoothness of the honey. You first taste the green tea, which is followed by the juniper berries, coriander seeds, kaffir lime leaves, and fennel seeds. If you like drinks with a herby or botanical flavour, then you’ll love this one.
