The Evan Evans brewery in Llandeilo is best known for producing fine Welsh ales, but they also make cider, and in 2024 they launched two alcohol-free ciders: this one with summer fruits, and another that’s medium dry.
Ciders made with other fruits – in addition to apples – have been increasingly popular in recent years. They might not please cider traditionalists, but they have attracted plenty of new cider drinkers. This one has a nice fruity aroma, natural fruit flavours, and a deep cherry colour; and it avoids the excessive sweetness that mars some fruit ciders.
All Red Hog ciders are gluten free and vegan friendly.
