With its bubble-gum-pink and cream colour-scheme and retro design, the packaging of this drink makes you think of 1950s American diners, with long booths and a juke box. It has a strong kombucha smell, but the flavour is kind of American too: kind of like a cream soda or candy floss. Although it works nicely as a soda, the kombucha flavour is not as strong we might have liked, and the raspberry was a little hidden under the sweetness too.
Kombucha drinks are not usually recommended for children or anyone who is pregnant, as they are live drinks and so the alcohol content can vary over time, although it is usually not more than 0.5%.
