Savyll founder Avnish Babla describes himself as a “dinner party alchemist”. With this range of drinks, he has sought to reinvent some of his dinner guests’ favourite cocktails in an innovative alcohol-free way, including this mojito.
The first thing to say is that this is a great-looking drink. It has a nice mojito colour and comes in a classic glass bottle with a smart copper top. As for the taste, our two taste-testers enjoyed it but they weren’t blown away by it. One found the taste “morish, with a good mix of sharp and sweet” and enjoyed the “authentic lime aroma” but found the bubbles a “slightly weird addition that makes you think more of lemonade than mojito”. The other thought it was a nice drink but lacked kick.
Our two reviewers varied in the scores they gave too: four out of five from one, and three out of five from the other. So, we gave it an average score of three and a half!
