First made in 1830, Tanqueray is one of the world’s most popular gins and is often favoured by those who like to think they know a thing or two about gin. The distillery launched their first 0.0% spirit in 2021, and this new citrusy Flor de Sevilla came along in 2023.
It’s a great-looking drink. The bottle is beautiful and the drink itself has a lovely pinky-yellow hue. The flavour of oranges is a little sweet but it’s balanced by some underlying bitter herbs. It’s a long way from a traditional gin – but then most gins are these days. Altogether, it’s light and refreshing. Great for a sunny day.
