About Alcohol Awareness Week

Alcohol Awareness Week is a week of awareness-raising, campaigning for change, and more. This year's Alcohol Awareness Week took place from 1 to 7 July 2024. We'll be announcing the date and theme for next year's Alcohol Awareness Week later in the year.

Alcohol Awareness Week is coordinated by us, Alcohol Change UK. Each year, over 5,000 public health teams, workplaces, GP surgeries, pharmacies, hospitals, charities and other community groups across the country sign up to take part using resources provided by us.
