Most of us, when we can’t get a decent alcohol-free drink on a night out, shrug our shoulders and take whatever’s on offer. When it happened to Ellie Webb, she set up a new drinks company.
Inspired by the colours and flavours of Colombia, Caleño appeared on the scene in 2018. Their two bottled spirits – Caleño Light and Zesty and Dark and Spicy – have now been joined by two premixed cocktails in cans: this Passion Fruit Martini, and a Piña Colada.
Packaged in a bold pink and blue can, it’s a nice fruity drink with a mix of spices. It’s full of intriguing flavours, but it’s not really much like a passion fruit martini. As always, you’ll have to try it for yourself and make your own mind up.
