Like a lot of alcohol-free beers from independent producers, Collider has a great personal story behind it. The company’s founder, Harry, worked for years in the wine industry but got fed up with alcohol, and started thinking about making his own alternatives. This peach beer is one of the three results of that – along with a lager and an IPA.
It’s a light beer with a warm golden colour. The peach flavour is clear but doesn’t dominate, and the sweetness of the fruit doesn’t overwhelm the hops and barley. This is definitely a beer with fruit, not a fruit drink.
It’s made with L-Theanine, which comes from tea; Lion’s Mane mushrooms; and ashwagandha root. The evidence for the benefits of these ingredients is under discussion, but a few studies have shown that they may help with things like stress and poor sleep.
